Francophone Mobility Program

Francophone Mobility Program – Work in Canada Without an LMIA

Are you a French-speaking or bilingual foreign worker looking to build your career in Canada?

The Francophone Mobility Program allows many qualified French-speaking foreign nationals to obtain a Canadian work permit without the employer having to obtain a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). This makes the hiring process faster, simpler, and more affordable for employers.

To qualify, you generally must:

  • Have an offer of employment from a Canadian employer outside the province of Quebec.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate level of French (generally equivalent to NCLC/CLB 5 in speaking and listening).
  • Meet all other Canadian work permit eligibility requirements.

This program is open to workers in most occupations and can be an excellent pathway for skilled professionals, tradespeople, technicians, hospitality workers, and many other occupations.

How We Can Help

We work with Canadian employers seeking French-speaking talent and help connect them with qualified candidates. We can:

  • Match your profile with participating employers.
  • Review your résumé.
  • Assess your eligibility for the Francophone Mobility Program.
  • Guide employers through the compliance process.
  • Coordinate your work permit application with a licensed Canadian immigration lawyer.

If you are a French-speaking foreign worker interested in working in Canada, send us your résumé at info@immisight.com. We will review your profile and contact you if a suitable opportunity is available.

Please note: ImmiSight helps connect employers and candidates but is not a recruitment or placement agency. Final hiring decisions are made solely by the employer.
